No....it has a peal and stick back to it. there is a small hole in the dash bezel for the wire. You can run the wire in through the vent also, but I have a spare bezel to put on if I take out the VAFC.

That's what I was thinking!!! I was surprised no one mentioned anything as I read through the post until I got twoards the end You're not supposed to put the top down when it's wet because that's what causes those shiney wear marks.
