Great pics. The first one looks like a Lotus too. The roll bar on that yellow one would be something I would like for my car. Also, is the blue car the Elise with an Integra Type R engine?

Looks a little damp out there. Were you running in the wet? If so, how did your Kumhos hold up?

S2R-

the Elise was a eurospec model not the type R. I don't think either of these cars (Spyder or Elise) are street legal in the US........but the guys drove them to the event. When I asked them about it they said "well as long as you don't get caught........"

calc-

We did run in the rain. It's funny I've run two or three events in the rain on the Kumhos and I preffer them to my street tire.......in that setting at least. They have an amazing amount of grip. I was a couple of seconds ahead of several Z06's on street tires with traction control. They worked even better when I first purchased them and they had a little tread on 'em.

Cliff-

I usually post on ETRSCCa's site when I'm headed out of town for an event keep an eye out there. I'll also drop you a line before the next one. It's about 200 miles one way but well worth the drive. Spas2000 (Keith) has some mpegs of our runs yesterday in the rain I'll try and post sometime so you can see what the facility is like!

Mack,

How are you racing in AS w/ spoilers and side strakes? I thought that was against the rules unless it comes w/ them from the factory.

Chris S-

I think you are correct in your assumption. It's not that big a deal at a local level (ie no one really cares or protests) which is what I've been running this year. Most of us are out to have a good time and have a little spirited competition. I doubt I gain any competitive advantage having them. Anyway, I do plan on taking them of next year when I run some Divisional and National stuff. I don't see any reason to take the chance of a protest and most competeitors at that level take this stuff seriously!! I'll them and either plug or patch all the holes in the body work. I guess if someone wanted to get really picky they could protest me for having a hole in the body were the old spoiler attached.

If you know anyone in the market for a slightly used aeropackage I'll have one up for sale later this year!

Wow, thanks for posting those pictures. You have any pictures of the interior of the Lotus. I wouldn't mind having one of those to go with the S2000, especially the LM250 or the other one knicknamed the Insect. Thanks again.

Let me know when you're ready to sell the rear spoiler...I'd certainly consider buying it.
