My S is being built to be fast, reliable and "good looking". I road race it, drag race it and will enter it in local car shows. While it will not be a dedicated track or show car, and will not dominate any one of those categories, it will compete fairly well.

Maybe because there is nothing special that others could not get in 10min,. over the phone or internet. And that chrome theme is played out plus every one knows you must be a poser because a track car (thicker radiator, samso hoses, oil-catch tank) will not sport a chrome cross member.
As long as you like it it's ok, just don't give us the because you showed us something that has been done back in 2002:

Or is being done all over the world (this one is from Sweden) with the difference that others have at least some custom work involved.

Ordering a Mugen spark plug cover for mad $$$ does not take skills
, if you dont have atleast a flux capacitor or a Bugatti V16 motor custom fit in your car, why post pictures???? No custom work = nothing to see. Seriously dude, you have an engine bay from 2002, no wait, 1985.

^BTW, sarcasm is a second language to me

Looks great man

Those are some very nice S2000s! I can appreciate the hard work and money spent on them. I am far from being a poser--everything that I have done to my S2000 serves some function--whether it be performance or looks. Since I am not going hardcore into performance, I can do some cosmetic mods from time to time.

The idea of chrome pieces being played out is simply whack. People have been putting Volks on their S2000s for many years, and you don't see anybody hating on them when they post pics. They get nothing but props, which is what I feel I deserve here. Also, there has been some custom work done on my S2000, and there will be much more done over the years.

So if I get this straight, you think you deserve props for putting a few "bolt-ons" on your car and we deserve sh1t for not giving you the props .
Plus you deserve mad props because "everything that I have done to my S2000 serves some function--whether it be performance or looks".

Since when is looks a function? Are there any parts that do not fall into any of the 2 cathegories? And since when are non-posers entering ghey car shows?
I hope you don't overheat in you next 24h race. Should be save with that Cusco hose

BTW. I like your engine bay just don't like the way yo whine for "props".
