Well I had a 1998 Eclispe GSX and it wasnt relaible and also had crankwalk on the motor the bearings were failing and the crank moved I wouldnt even look a a mitsu product again they are not well put together dont spend money. Thats why I love this Honda!! Also there are others with bad experiences so dont flame me Im just giving my personal opinion.. Sorry Mitsu but you guys gave me a hard time with my car thank god its gone!!!!!!

this is a off topic subject. but where were the 98 eclispse gsx made? where were the motor made and where are the Evo's being made from?

Previous generation Eclipses were made in Illinois (I think) but definitely in the US. Evo's will be from Japan.

well before anyone gets an EVO just do research on how the reliablity is in Europe and Japan!!!

I would never in a million years spend 35grand on that car.. I don't give a crap how fast that thing is.. There's a fine line between how much i'd settle for looks over performance..

getting a car u want over sticker is just like rape, if its inevitable,
why don't u just lie back and enjoy it. if a guy buys a car for $2000
more but enjoys it for 6-12mos longer than u fretting about it, who do u think comes out better....its only money, every day u waste saving those pennies is a day closer to your grave.

Yeah - but surely youre gonna feel cheated ? I cancelled my order for an early S2000 when they started adding to the price and am glad I did. Every time I got behind the wheel I'd have felt like a sucker.
