Body kits IMO should enhance the lines of a car, not try to completely change it.

Why not? Thats the purpose for the fortune body kits. creating new lines that change the car completly. The NSX won the grand prix, which means it was the best car of the entire show. The judges are Dai, and usually top Japanese designers from various schools and companies (ie nissan, honda, etc...) So it fits the taste of the japan market where Veilside is from.
