ooohh that was from the car and driver thing a while back in the Fourgasm issue (sep 2003). yeah, the s2000 won, but only with its breaking distance. the second place evolution had a faster 0-60, faster 1/4 mile, and faster road course time. the s2000 was only marginally better from 60-100 (.3 seconds) and decently faster from 100-130 (1.3 seconds) mostly due to the 5th gear gearing of the evo.

 

I'm so glad i taped that Super Fleat show when it was shown on the Speed channel.
