Thanks for all the info guys... I found some old threads using 'RJ De Vera' as a search and found out all about the respray and stuff....
Cool.
So its supercharged, but what else has it got to give it 350 bhp. ?

I believe the drag race (with the Blue car) will be on TV this afternoon on an NBC show like Access Hollywood.
Yesterday, I was surfing between football games and I cought the end of a show where this car is on the drag strip and they are saying, watch tomorrow for the race.

That interview with Vin was done over the summer AFTER F&F was released and had the unexpected success that it did in theaters.
It was on Access Hollywood and the end of the interview clip ended with a shot of RJ's S2K and his NSX going head to head down the 1/4. Neither one of the driver's knew how to launch the cars, but once they got going, the NSX pulled on the S2K........that S2K is now supercharged.

What was Vin doing with RJ's car? That car is the same car that was in F&F. but at the time it was black. I like it better in blue. Whats up with those photos with Vin and the car. The paint is purple and the seats look orange! The photo shoot in the mag. did it MUCH more justice.

yeah,like Fullthrottle said,check the Dec 2001 Super Street.RJ De Vera had the paint changed after the movie,it's a blue to red scheme that changes color depending on the angle.however,it'll be changed back to the Jonny Tran black,ninja star paint,as part of the promotion for when fast and furious will debut in Japan.as for Vin Diesel being by it,probably just as part of a promo for the movie.
