They're talking about this in the Viper forum. I think it's one of their guys. I posted that link in our "s2k off a cliff" thread. At least he had the jewels to have it posted so others may learn from his mistake.

 

Does any body know if this was a "solo" accident? I didn't see pics of any other vehicle.

From the last series of pics, it looks like it was sliding upside-down on the hood and the roll bar. It looked like the windshield didn't hold up too well.

Man!, they were lucky to survive!

 

Here's a photo of a pre-wreck Viper at the Vegas NASCAR race this last weekend. Would you spend the money to paint your Viper this way??

 

Did anyone else notice that the hand brake is pulled all the way up? Now, it could have gotten like that many ways, but what I am wonder is how did he flip a Viper? That thing is so damn wide. Maybe they were screwing around on the highway, pulled the brake for a "controlled skid and lost it. I can't imagine that they were driving straight on the highway and somehow lost control enough to flip.
The situation sucks anyway. It looks like they were just out for a quick drive. " C'mon let me show you what she can do! Don't worry honey we'll be back in a minute." The type of situation that starts innocently and ends so wrong. Too bad.
