virtual s2k in Maya
So I've been wanting to take a car all the way through the pipeline in Maya and now that I've got my s2000 I think I have the motivation! I'm going to be making a production level asset that can be used from movies to games. This is part of an exercise to master Maya, and fully understand a vehicle pipeline. I'm going to start with modeling the vehicle in stock form, texturing it, and rigging it for animation. I want to eventually move on to doing a short animation rendered in Mental Ray and then a driving sim/game using the Unity game engine. This is a large project and with two very tight deadlines at work it may not be finished until after the first of the year. I hope that's not the case, but I'll try and post up progress reports often to show anyone who's interested how a virtual vehicle is born! Thanks for checking this out... I know there's not much to show as of yet, but stay tuned!!! There's about 6 hours worth of work so far...... lots of pushing and pulling vertices..... jeeeesh.

yay!! Just because I've just found some old pictures even though they have NOTHING to do with this topic... here are some pics of my last car and some work I did to it.... byebye fairladyZ!

Gosh that car had it's beautiful days... anywho... thanks for enjoying this throwback with me!

Crazy were doing the same thing at the same time. Maybe we could trade some parts! lol I think your creases are looking a bit tight on the front fender detail.
