Default Vortech instaled pics

I just finished installing my Vortech supercharger. I thought I would share some pics. I don't like the vortech airbox and plan on building a new one. I also moved the FMU over so I could still access the clutch reservoir. I also used some diffrent plumbing for the aftercooler. I hope you all like.

I don't know if the moderators will let me do that, besides I'm kinda attached to Slows2k. I'm going to have to slow down to keep the drivetrain together.

1972 AMC Javelin SST. Wild plum purple with a white interior. Currently getting a rebuilt driveline. The car has 100K and never restored.

It's a pretty big install, My advice is to take your time and double check the instructions as you go. It took me 2 months to get everything done on my car. I was still driving it every day. Here's the order I did everthing in:
1. Install fuel pump (Don't use the filter that comes with the pump it can hit the sending unit float making the fuel gauge no worky-worky Trust me, I ran out of gas)
2. Install FMU (I mounted mine forward of the clutch reservoir)
3. Install aftercooler radiator, pump and reservoir
4. Wire the relay for the aftercooler pump
5. Prewire the timing and map controllers - I used a VAFC harness much easier to make good electrical conections on a table instead of under the dash.
6. Install blower and aftercooler
7. Remount the vacuum reservoir and air pump solenoid
8. Route the vacuum lines
9. TEST DRIVE

Take your time and do it neat and clean, there is nothing worse than a sloppy job.

I'm building a new one now- Most likely going to use a bigger filter as well. Thanks!
