media player 9 or 10 and divix
I have WMP 9 and it keeps trying to download codec but keeps getting "error in downloading codec"...what gives?

So should it be an AVI instead of an MPEG? Would seem to make sense to me ... downloading on my home computer. blah.

Have you guys got the Divx codec? Im d/l atm so Im not sure if that's it but its pretty common.

http://www.divx.com/ should have the codec you want. Just get the free one, the "Pro" version is only if you want to encode your own movies.

- I couldn't get it to work at home, even after downloading some things...

You can skip codecs all together and just get a more versital player
