i have never really understood the logic of throwing a fuel cell in the trunk, moving the heavy ass tank to the back and higher up?

the stock tank is in between the front and rear wheels is it not? and about as low as possible.

well the factory gas tank is about 13.2 gallons, the fuel cell holds ten gallons. not sure exactly what material the factory fuel tank is made out of, but if it's not made out of aluminum then it's definitely heavier.

it's only where it is right now temporarily, most likely gonna mount it elsewhere, maybe even where the factory one is.
