I think that I will attempt to do this mod on my car. I will probably buy an Odyssey H and cut the border off.

I will have a horrible time fastening it to my car, should I try and remove the black plastic piece from the car?

Any ideas on removing the OEM H from the bumper?

I think if done properly, this will be an awesome looking personal touch.

Hmmm....this idea is interesting. Another option is to CNC machine the giant 'H' logo to the size you want. And get a solid billet aluminum quality to it. You can also machine in fasteners, holes, etc to mount it.

Now that I have read this thread, I might try the idea out and see if I like it. Running this through a CNC machine would be costly, but I have access to a CNC machine here and I will give this a try. I just need to draw the artwork up on the computer for programming and find a scrap piece of aluminum chunk.....

While you're at it...

That's a great idea, though I simply don't have the time or patience for all of that.

My dad just bought a CNC mill, and he could probably help out.
I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Maybe a body shop could cover up the holes left by the old emblem the same time thy paint and install my comptech side strakes.
