Growing up all I ever wanted was a big block Corvette. In 1990 I realized my dream and purchased a 1970 454cu 4 speed Monza red Vette. After about 10 years it had to go to make room for my Stook. This car is the extreme opposite of my Stook it had over 450hp and 500lbs of torque (ps I kept the wife )

So did you have to make room in your garage for the Stook if so what did you sell?

Oh for a while I had both of them and I raced my wife from a standing start, she in the vette and I in the stook. Do I have to tell you the outcome? It was great hearing the vette at full throttle from behind though.
Since owning the S I have had a new appreciation for roadsters and prob will always have one. I think my next car after I get tired of the S is going to be a Shelby Cobra replica kinda a mix between my vette and the S.

Charlie:

I sold a 1980 White Vette I had for 20 years. I just didn't drive it enough! It was a stock 350hp. Beautiful though! Replaced with a white/red S2000. Here goes another 20 years!!!!! Nice Vette you had!

Ummm not quite......she spanked me, but the stook is not meant for stop light racing IMO of course.
That vette was such a rush stop light racing when you hit the throttle it pinned you in your seat and growled thru its headers and borla exhaust like it was the Devil.

68-69 vettes are a little funky certain interior features them apart. Also the body on 70-72 are flared out around the tires which adds a nice touch not only for looks but for keeping nicks off the side of the car. The side vents are diff on 70-72 as well. On the rear the exhaust tips on a 70-72 are really cool they are chrome square bezels not available on 68-69.The model 70-72 are identical. Dont get me started on the 73 vette.

I had a 1964 Red on red with a white drop top with a 327/300 4speed and a (don't even get me started on the 73) 1973 T/Top 350/275? at the same time. I also had a 1985 with LOTS of mods.

It's been a few years since I owned a Vette but I still am a fan of them. A couple of times a year I am an autoX driving instructor for 3 Corvette clubs. I love the new ZO6, or at least I would if it wasn't so damned big.

I've spent a bit of time on track in a very nice 427 Shelby Cobra replica and while I liked it and it was fast I don't think it would be the car for me.
