stupid question, but could you briefly explain how to?
Is it as simple as and insert, heat, and watch the colors fly? or are there steps and a procedure?

iirc you need to clean/polish out the knob first so you have a clean surface to work with

how hard would it be to achieve that purple color? wouldn't raising the metal to that temperature burn the paint off the top??
