its actually not the painter who paints the car, if you had runs in the paint etc, then you can blame the painter, otherwise it the paint company they use, whether it ppg, dupont, or sherwin-williams. most paints, especially honda's will have several variance to one color that will be tinted differently from the standard, a common problem with ppg etc is they dont have the variance available through their line of paint, however I highly recommend going to shop that uses sherwin-williams b/c of their availability of variances. plus to insure the paint job matches the paint of the car, you should do a blend job and not just paint one part of the car hoping for butt match. this is in response to the comments from above

^ you do know that with any brand paint you can mix any variance correct? the paint mismatch is the painters fault. if they had properly compared the existing paint with a paint letdown of what they were gonna spray they would know it didnt match. its not too hard to match paint. deffinitly not a paint manufacturing problem. and sherwin willaims sucks. ill never spray with them

walmart paint ftw LOL jp

rijowysock - paint is similar to wheels, you sell premium wheels because you get what you pay for (in most people's opinion) so paint will work the same as wheels, if you pay less you get lower quality.

(sorry just had to give you some shit) LOL

back on topic, I just installed the ap2 oem, I was not real thrilled about doing it because I wanted the shine asm bumper as well, BUT the oem lip does the job for now until I can spend more money on the car
