What a pal! (pic request)
This past weekend a friend of mine offered to help me wash my S. Since he's owned very nice cars himself and knows how careful to be around my car, I let him. While vacuuming out the driver's side foot well, he yanked the vacuum cleaner into the side of the car and left a nasty ding below the door. It took it to Dent Wizards and they said it's in just the right spot for them NOT to be able to fix it. Great aim!
So... My next option is to have him buy side skirts to cover up his blunder. I'm not a big fan of them, but it's better than a ding. After much searching (and am I the only one that thinks the search functionality on s2ki.com blows ...I digress), I think I like the Feel's the best. They just look the most integrated to me.
Does anyone have any experience or advice when it comes to side skirts? And of course there is the picture request... Any shots of Feel's side skirts on a yellow s2000, preferably with an OEM front lip ('01)? I know that's a tall order. I was only to find a handful of silverstone pics.
Thanks a lot!

Update...
I took my car to the doctors' for a second opinion. That would be Dent Doctors. They said that Dent Wizards will usually turn away harder dings and only do the really simple ones. They on the other hand, have highly skilled technicians that can fix just about anything.
$95 later, I believe them! The ding is gone and it looks as good as new. Big ups to Dent Doctors on Kenney and Henderson in Columbus, OH!
I also have the MPT F1 (Feel's knockoff) skirts on the way. http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=201815 These sides really grew on me over the last couple weeks. If I can get the paint matched well, I'll try them on. If I can't get it matched well, I'll have some side skirts for sale cheap!
PS - The car seems so much faster with that ding removed!!!!

BTW IMO it would have been pretty harsh to make your pal pay for a ding that he accidently done helping you. Remember that if he wasn't giving you a hand he wouldn't have done it. If you were paying him to do the job it'd be a different story but it seems as though he was doing it as a favour only. Just my opinion

Dent Doctor is by far the best... All the others are spin offs. I live in Little Rock where the original franchise started. They are the Dent Pimps. Also, the Doctor in Columbus is their highest grossing franchise in the nation. That guy makes a killing............

Just kidding! I was not going to make him pay for anything. Maybe just sweat a little. And if you'll notice above I said I have the MPT skirts on the way, not him. Truth be told.. being the awesome friend that he is, he offered to buy skirts. It's totally not necessary (even before it was fixed), but very appreciated.
So lighten up! I may be an ass, but I'm not that big of an ass! I appreciate my friends way more than any car.
