I looks totally different than the pics S2KYSK posted. The primer was grey instead of aqua, and there were ALOT of imperfections with the wing. I wonder why it totally differs from other pics? Anyway, Red Blur's car is 01 Black, so it should look sweet!!!

It is not the color I am concerned about, but the actual quality of the spoiler. There were chips and holes everywhere, and also glue drips all over the place. The paint shop is going to have to do alot of preping before they even paint it. That is what I was talking about....
weird, mine arrived just fine...
sure it wasn't perfect, but the body shop always has to prep it for paint...
i too had glue on it, but that's cause the instructions arrived glued on the wing...
the spoiler really is fine...
i don't think any of you should worry...
the final product is excellent!

S2KYSK - No screws in the holes.
Pappy - That's exactly how mine arrived. Lots of imperfections and scratches, no instructions or mounting hardware, and NO padding whatsoever!
Tommy - What size screws do we need and is there a mounting guide/instructions that came in your box?

When you who lives in US orders someting from Germany or Japan, do you have to pay customsfee and tax on the parts you orderd???
Have you got salestax in US??? (we in Sweden have to pay 25% tax on everyting we buy)
If I order something from USA or any other country outside the European Union I have to pay 5% customfee and on the totalvalue after customfee I have to pay 25% tax = It

hey guys, sorry to hear that all of you received your spoiler w/missing parts/pieces...
mine arrived w/two screws, one on each side and instructions glued on to the top of the wing...
i threw the scews out, and the instructions as well...
i already had scews to use from my OEM spoiler and even if i didn't, the body shop painting your spoiler, will obviously install it for you w/no problem.
it's pretty much common sense as to where you drill the spoiler for it to sit right... so what were German instructions gonna do for me anyways?
just place the spoiler till it's flush and mark your settings...
for those who haven't drilled any spoiler onto their trunk lid... it's recommended that you drill right where there is a grove in the trunk... (to make drilling easier)
our spoiler is suggested to be bolted on my two screws on each side... i only used one on each side, b/c that's where my OEM spoiler sat on...
i had to redrill into the spoiler b/c the predrilled holes sat nowhere near my existing holes...

one scew went into the "dip" of the trunk and the other hole ON THE SPOILER... (to the top left of it) is left screwless for obvious reasons... looking at it now, i don't even understand why a hole was drilled there b/c it doesn't even touch the car (unless i drill it to my quarter panel)???? therefore, it's left open w/no scew in it... HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!
take a look at this pic and let me know if it helps any
Goodluck to you all,
Tommy
