whats up with all the pointless posts today? why would you drive to arizona to fix a car that you no longer have any affiliation with?
It was a friend who bought it. Just thought i'd share the pics, anyone who remembers kMfromLA would probably get a kick out of it.

Sorry, I thought pictures of an s2000 belonged in the "gallery".

And it was 50% the rims, 30% the carbon fiber, and 116% the driver (he's not very good at math)

I was lost there for a second, but I take it this is what happened:

1) The car was sold to a friend, who happened to be a "kid"
2) The kid gets excited, decides to drift the car...right into a curb
3) You guys drive back out to Arizona and help the kid, because he is a friend
4) Hilarity ensues because nobody here could really understand the reason behind you posting this, as this post lacked a proper introduction

So the lesson to take away from this? Don't put crappy rims/tires on an S2000.

You nailed it. Sorry about the crappyness of the post, but after 17 million beers someone said "post it to s2ki!" and it just seemed like a good idea at the time.

And he's buying rims that dont suck, so it probably wont happen again.
