Who has a pooch?
^^ Man that's tough. Lost him at an early age
. I know the feeling brother. It'll take some time but you'll pull through. It's been a little over a year for me and I still have some tough moments.

When I had my dog put down last year, I just made a thread and asked everyone to show their dog some kind of affection to show you appreciate them. It's tough loosing your best friend.
Hope all gets better,
Chris
Thanks for all your support I know it happens to everyone that owns a dog but it's still so painful.
I'm learning that 60% of all male Dobermans have the condition that Charlie had (50% for females and 1-10% all other breeds).
Charlie was the most loving dog I have ever had and it's so ironic that the condition was that his heart was too big for his body. So if you have a dobe you should know this; There are no symptoms until the almost instantaneous death (10 seconds or so of 'dieing').
The way to check for it is to get an X-ray of your dog
