Thumbs up Why isn't Honda considering this?

I saw two photoshopped images of the S as a coupe, but I wasn't really satisfied with any of them, so I decided to give it a go myself :

I think it looks pretty good, and I'm sure it would make the car lighter and handle better. Why isn't Honda considering this?

bad economy...shuttering up until it's done...they scrapped plans for the successor...plus the S2000 didn't make a huge profit for them...didn't they hand assemble each engine? nissan i have to say has done things right by making the VQ platform that ALL their cars use...good economies of scale.

How does adding a metal roof make a car lighter in your head?

Removing the soft top, frame, and motors? I don't know if you realize how heavy all of that stuff is. Why do you think all convertible versions of most coupes are heavier?
