Mulderato... If your car had black mirrors on GPW the first time around i'm not sure if I would have approved it, its hard to say that they look "clean." I like your AP2 front, but I would get a lip for it.

S2Krazzi... wow, I REALLY like the color of your car! Is that custom? I think your car looks great with the INGs front and the blue wheels against the gold wheels with the blue rollbar until I see the rear. I think that the half cut off look of the version II CWest rear kills the entire flow of the car. I'll have to leave this up to one of the other judges to decide, i'm not sure if i'm biased against that rear, but I would like to approve the front half of the car.

 

Hey mulderato... first off, we have THREE judges, not just me. Secondly, there is a reason why it says "XA's CLEAN S2K THREAD" so there has to be some personal opinion involved, don't you think? There have been many cars that I have approved that I don't particularly care for very much, so personal bias?, I don't think so. Instead, the issue has been with me being too nice and not giving my true opinions on cars that technically are not clean in the end. RULES were posted in the beginning of this thread, and maybe if posters would be honest with themselves and actually read the rules then I wouldn't have to feel like i'm being a d*ck and put there car down and deny it, so instead I have tried to be nice and approve cars that were kind of "on the fence." Guess what, black mirrors on a white car that are STOCK elephant ears looking mirrors are not clean IMO, and when you submit your car in my thread, where the judges have already been stated, whose opinion do you think matters? I stess the IMO part because if you like the way your car looks that is all that matters, WTF do you care what I think. You might think my car looks like ass, and that's fine, but if you want honest opinions and tougher guidelines then I will set them forth for now on starting with your car, which would have been denied. If you are so stuck on strict rules and guidelines then why don't you read the part about needing some type of drop and a front lip, but i'm sure you knew that before you posted your car for review. BTW, do you also remember how we explicitly said in the beginning of the thread that STOCK IS NOT CLEAN, the idea was to get modified s2000's that are clean, not someone that drove it off the lot, took a picture, and thinks their car looks clean. If I named this the "100% oem is clean thread" then I would understand, but from the rules that have been set forth in the beginning I don't think that anyone should be shocked. Now, can we just get back to posting pictures of our cars so we can have a nice collection of clean s2k's in one thread or does this have to turn into a pissing match?

 

You got it. But you didn't also read that I got my car back one week ago today. I havent had time to get a lip from jeff. I retract, and you are right, I really don't care WTF you think . When you do a theme (as I am with the NSX-R), you use stock parts, elephant or not.... guess you missed that thread too huh...
