Howsabout getting the whole story:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=234632

The bumper is off because he was monitoring for stress cracks in the hitch mounts.
He only tows the boat about a mile (maybe less), and never tops 30mph with it.

ummm yeah but
what if that boat is too heavy for our s2k's frame??
what if that trailer comes loose on highway due to frame breakage?
I seriously think that is NOT SAFE at all.
he doesnt go on the highway.. his boat is stored 1 mile away from the water, and he didnt want to switch cars or anything to tow the boat.. so he towed with his s2k, he only takes it on backroads...
i personally i wouldnt do anything like it, and dont think its a good idea.. but its his car, let him do what he likes....

ok obviously you didnt read his previous thread saying his plans on towing the boat. People already warned him that it might cause damage, but since the guy is not having any problems and isnt harming anyone in the process, I see no harm done.

If you got the links to these pics, then chances are you read the threads, too. Why bring this crap up in another thread?
Somebody close this thread and let's leave the guy alone. He proved it could be done in the face of all the taunting and flaming. Get over it.
