i know it seems like a bit of a stupid question but really how much dirrerence is there between the monster and the R6???

the look of the r6 is much sleeker so i imagine the performance to be better.


btw the s4r is very powerfull! i have read a few articles on that and bth i think i would be scared of riding it!

 

The ducatti isn't technically a monster. I mean yea htey are expensive as hell n' its the lambo of bikes but as far as performance many bikes out due the ducattie except for what the 996 i believe that is A MONSTER.

 

I think you mean the 999, not the 996. The 996 may have been a monster 7 or 8 years ago.

Ducatis are nice for cruising and posing :-)

In order to be competive on the track you better have a 999 (20K).

The R6 is in every way a better bike, good move on the switch!

I have riden a few Ducatis and never been impressed.

I was going to get a 998 a few years ago, but then I rode my RC51.... just as good, if not better for half!

monster 750 rated at around 70hp i believe, r6 close to 110hp so yeah big difference performance wise. monster was torquey down low and mid which was good for the twisties and around the town driving. it was also tons of fun to ride. as i said above, if i had a bigger garage, i'd have both
