Default 00-05 seats vs. 06+

Just wondering what the differences were/ which people preferred and why.

I have read the 06+ are more comfortable and that the leather wears less than the earlier ones. Any other opinions/thoughts? I also know the rails on the passenger side are different.

Thanks

I dont like how the 06+ dont have the whole by the head rest but they do look a little thicker and maybe a better quality. It seems difficult to keep an s2k seats in good condition. the leather wears very easily.

Owned an 01 and now an 06. I personally think the 06+ seats are more comfortable, but I do miss the hole in the headrest on the 00-05. I find the 06+ seats to be more refined looking as well. Wear wise, I'm not sure yet. Seems like the side bolsters will hold up better long term on the 06+. They are a type of vinyl on the sides and headrest, not leather, and appear thicker and stronger than the 00-05, so time will tell.

Along with the headrest, the leather is different on the newer hondas from like 06 and up. My accord has the same leather thats on the newer s2ks, its less smooth.

The 06+ def have more texture in the leather. Also the bolsters are more stiff.
