i recently saw that the 08 CR had this little glove box cubby space. and i said, "I WANT THAT!"

so, does anyone know if there is a way to make this happen in a reg ap2?

I'm pretty sure it'll fit...It has to use the same mounting tabs and all...I looked at the parts schematic and I seems to be the same for all years...however you'll be pretty upset to know that that glovebox cover w/the cubby space is $150...the cover that is in the 00-05 is only $7 lol..huuuuge difference...I'd do the upgrade but it's not worth the 150 buckaroooos

 

^yeah, i saw the 150 on the exploded view on Majestics site. i was like, "Goddaaaaaaaang thats a lot of money!".
i will drop the cash on it, but i really wanna make sure it fits into the tabs first.

 

It has to because all the dashed are the same think about it...it's really the same part just with a small pocket molded in...it has to have the same tabs

 

ill make sure the actual dash part number is the same, if so, ill get it and be the test pilot.

it comes with replacement clips and everything, so it should be good to go. ill be ordering it in about a week or so. gotta pay bills first. damn end of the month. lol

the dashboards are actually different part numbers.

ap2= ends in a02za
CR= ends in a52za

both in graphite black. and the price is even different.

CRAP. guess this is a no-go, unless its some other part of the dash that is different. but i doubt it.

 

you mean that little glove box meant of small things above the passenger's knee area? If your talking about that there are threads on it and and someone tried but it won't work.

Totally different mounting.

 

My 06 has the cubby you speak of.
