Default $1 Cup holder mod

So I recently bought an s2k about 2 months ago and have been doing alot of reading about cupholders.
Being my daily driver I always like to carry water with me.

Cup holder position in this car was really thought through really well as you can't access the gear stick if you have anything larger than a coffee cup in there...I decided to do some research into alternatives. I did this in one of my other cars and noticed not alot of s2k owners had done something similar. So below is my version of an aftermarket cup holder.

$1 bicycle drink holder from ebay and a bracket from a hardware store works wonders using the factory net holes! Will eventually paint the bracket red so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb but for now it will do.

Hope this helps some other s2k owners from spilling drinks all over the place!

Parts used:
1x ebay bicycle bottle holder
1x metal bracket
1x washer and nut to be used on the top mount of bottle holder

reuse existing screws and holes for the net.

Great Idea! I drink so much water through-out the day and I usually place my bottle on my passenger seat. Its annoying if I have to slam the brakes and it goes flying. Thanks for sharing!

Glad to be of service. I had the same experience as well and end up shoving the bottle under my seat and always feared it might leak all over the carpet.
