Another All Season Floormat thread. (Rubber)
Be EZ. First post!
So I sold my DD 2003 Acura TL-S and managed to snag up a 2007 Rio AP2 (WoooT!). Luckily I forgot to include my OEM all weather floor mats from my Acura TL in the sale. After searching the forums/google for s2k all weather floor mats I was shocked to not find any alternatives that were worth the money.. (at least to me.)
So I put them up on the table to compare the two. (I don't have pics before cutting them because I wasn't sure how they would turn out. Sorry!)

Interesting enough they could be modified

Tools needed: (Don't tell my wife I used her fillet knife to cut my rubber mats.
)

And after very minimal cutting.. (Hint: Use the dimples on the reverse side of the rubber mats to help guide you in making a straight-ish line cut.)
Driver side ='s 1 cut

Passenger side ='s 3 cuts

Test fit.

I personally can't complain since they were supposed to go with the sale of my Acura TL. So rather than throw them away, or get $20 on craigslist for them, I repurposed them.
*** This may not be everyone's cup of tea but its an alternative. ( and yes I am aware that the water on the mats can roll back onto the carpet since I cut the lip which held the water in the rubber mat. It's not an issue for me since it will rarely, if ever, see the rain. My main issue was the driver side wear from my left heel.) ***
Thanks for viewing. Hopefully it will inspire someone else.
Pic of the old TL and new (to me) Rio S2k.!
You shall be missed.

Maybe not..

Edit:
-Resized pictures. (my bad.)

Has anyone ever bought these? http://moddiction.com/weathertech/we...i-1824930.aspx
I can't find anything about what they'll actually look like and how they'll fit. All I get are these generic photos of floor mats.
I tried searching the forum, all the threads I could find are about requesting Weathertech to make molded custom fit all weather floor mats but they wouldn't do it.
