AP1 Leather console wrap in '00
I have an '00 and would like to cover up the carpet texture around the center console. Is this a direct fit without having to upgrade to the AP2 center console?

Should be ok.
You will have to remove the OEM carpet and replace it with the leather console.
I had a real AP2 leather, it didn't fit as the size of the plastic center console is not the same.
The one in the link you posted should fit as according to the photos, there was an AP1 center console on it.
