Hello, I have an 04 and I guess from months of abuse from leaving open sodas in the center counsel, something got stuck. Iv tryed wetting it down , cleaning out the clips but I am still force with opening it by pushing the button than forcing it out a bit. What else I am missing, iv cleaned out the tabs and were the door makes contact with the consel but I'm still force to give it a bit of assistance before it opens fully by itself. The only method iv tryed was a microfiber cloth towel soaked in water...

 

id take it off and soak it a warm bath tub, but thats just me

 

I had the same issue. I just took out the center console (like 6 clips, real easy) and used a wet rag to wipe down everything (the rails and the part that spools up. You'll see what I'm talking about)

After doing that, it operates perfectly
