AP2 OEM leather enter console to AP1
Guys,
I brought my self a 2nd hand AP2 leather cover but from the manual i need to remove the dash to fit the damm cover, is there a better way of doing this? any tips?
do i have to remove the OE center carpet?
you help will be much appreciated

you'll have to remove the carpet as this replaces the carpet
and here is a tip...look at the leather center console cover you purchased because chances are there is no need to mess w/the dash
you see I sold my leather console cover a couple years ago and like most people that uninstalled it I ripped it right out at the radio door because removing the dash or lifting it wasn't really feasible...so checking out your cover should give you the answer
do a search and you should be able to find some pics of the removed piece (ripped off at the radio door)....and if yours isn't I'd cut it to make your life easier

so cut it where the radio door is?? when do i have to cut the OEM carpet?
Yeah I just cut it so that it would still stick under the radio door trim but not didn't bother removing everything to have it go all the way back under the radio area etc. Much easier that way.
