Default Bad luck with Muz floor mats

I bought new floor mats for my s2000. I wanted good ones, so I paid extra for Prestige Floor Mats (Honda S2000) from http://www.prestigeautoaccessories.com/

I am really disappointed. The anchor post eyelets ahttps://www.s2ki.com/s2000/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=n ew_post&f=1#ren't the same as the factory floor mats. Prestige suggested moving the posts in to fit. When I do that, the mats bunch up.

I want mats to match my tan interior. I got ORANGE mats. The piping around the mats is the correct color, but the mats are WAY off.

Also, the mats don't fit in the car well, especially on the passenger's side. They told me to let them "settle in" for a while. Well, they haven't.

I really expected high quality and good customer service when I paid as much as I did for mats. I got neither. I wish I had gotten the two piece mats now...

Buyer beware!

Sorry to hear about your mats. This is the one I just bought: Group Buy

I bought the black ones since my interior is black/black. I am very satisfied. They have brown so maybe that would work with tan interior? I thought the Muz mats looked out of place as well.

Just have had a similar experience with the Prestige mats which I ordered. They were lumpy over the cross brace and while they fit well in the footwell were not of a quality that in my view justified the nearly $500 I ended up paying for them by the time they got to me in Canada. At that price they should veritably drape over the humps and bumps like a well tailored Hugo Boss suit. That was what I was expecting. Yes buyer beware!!

I like my Muz floormats... they protect the "hump" carpet and seem high-quality. I've never used the anchor, and they don't move around. Mine are black, which is an easier color match though.

I had two sets of the MUZ Prestige mats... for two different S2Ks... I never has a problem with either set, however, I decided to go with a set of Rick's mats for my third S. I have to say that I like Rick's mats so much better than the MUZ Prestige style. In fact I bought the cheaper of the two styles that Rick's offers and I still prefer them to the MUZ mats. Rick's have a rubber "nib" backing and have an overall better look and fit, for almost half the price of the MUZ mats.

If I was going to spend a ton on floor mats, I would have bought the OEM premium mats that cover the hump

Hi all,

I wished I had read some more reviews before I ordered and took delivery of my MUZ Prestige mats. I thought I would support an Australian owned company, being a local Aussie myself.

However, the issue I had is detailed in my thread: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/882...tion-mismatch/

Besides, the mismatch eyelet position, I agree with the comments about the ill fitting nature of the passenger mat (well, driver's side for us right handed S2Ks) especially over the inner footwell. The mat sits up too high and the shape is not quite 100%. I, too, were told that it would settle after a while.

With regards to the eyelet mismatch issue, they 'kindly' offered half price for a second set. I had to supply photos to MUZ to ensure that they install the eyelets properly. I have ordered another set now, I hope they will fit. Otherwise, that will be almost $800 down the drain!!

I should have purchased Risks products in hindsight.

As mentioned, buyer's beware.
