Default Broadway Rear View Mirror

What's up guys, I know this might sound dumb but I'm having issues installing my broadway mirror, My rear view mirror seems to sit high maybe because I'm a little bit taller (6'0) and have to have the mirror aimed higher and without the broadway mirror it touches the top pillar already. So when I tried to install it, it was aimed too low while touching the top pillar and I couldn't adjust it upward anymore. Has anyone else had this issue with their broadway mirrors ? Thanks !

Doesn't sound dumb at all. People have had issues even with the stock mirror height on replacement windshields.

You don't have many options though. You can either change the placement of the mirror mount on the windshield (and run the risk of cracking your windshield) or use a different mirror.

I had this issue when i first got my car, i couldn't get the broadway to clamp on, but i was kind of in a hurry.
i took my time putting it on as soon as i got home, the right half of the mirror hits the top near the map light, but i am a bit shorter (5'6"). i have the mirror aimed a little lower, i wish i could push it up a little higher but it just doesn't budge. My windshield is a replace tho. i just learned to deal with it

I'm 6'4".. the broadways don't go on very well at all.

I'm using a Spoon curved mirror.. sticks on with double sided tape. Much more than enough with that.

mine does the same. I kinda monkey'd with it and got it to be where I need it by gradually forcing it into place. I'm your height too.

I want the broadway because I always feel vulnerable sitting at a light with top down, I'd like to be able to look at everything going on around and behind me at all times.
