Default Bucket seats and low rails

Sup guys I got the F1spec type5 seat from a vendor here, and all is well but how do i fit the seat with the optional lower bracket? I have my BC rails set to lowest setting in rear and 2nd to lowest up front because i cant get any lower, if i lower the front, the slider handle wont even fit. Let alone putting those lower brackets.

^I only have less than half a finger gap to pull up and adjust position, let alone 2" drop!!

I flipped the handle up side down so I have about half a finger gap there in front, allowing me to adjust the seat position, but if the seat goes any lower the handle wont move at all.

I would like to see pics of type5 or any seat with the low brackets installed because from what I see, it's impossible. I PMed F1spec but judging from his replies to question in his vendor threads, he's not really helpful with troubleshooting, so let me know if you guys have solutions, thanks!!

Ming has never had a customer with this problem before, so I figured it out and here's what I suggested:

".....This is the ONLY solution to type5 and L brackets.

front can only fit the highest slot, rear can only fit the middle slot, because the seat is already to the floor.

As I stated before, with this set up, the slider handle will not move. What they need to do is, cut 1 inch off the handle on both sides, and flip it upside down, and it will fit."

pretty simple and I tried to fix it without cutting the bar, but turns out you HAVE to cut it or there's absolutely no way it'll ever fit.

I also had the very same problem with F1specs rails. i need my seat at the lowest position and it will not work period!! ive since sent my entire purchase back, type 3 seats and their low mount version rails. Ive owned the type 5's and the slider didnt work then also my 1st set of type 3's over 3yrs ago. idk but hopefully they resolve their hardware issues. Im not to happy and waiting for a refund now so that i can purchase a better pair of seats this time. The seats and rails work if your shorter but when you mount it low its not gonna work

Well....the product is of great quality, many people who owned F1spec seats love the quality, I do too. The only concern I have is really his own lack of knowledge, he should have posted that L brackets can not be set to the lowest setting, and he's not very good at troubleshooting, instead he just told me no one ever brought it up to him.

Do you have a pic of the cutting involved and how the seats currently sit - including the slider bar. Considering the type 1 seat. Also, how easy would it be to swap in the stock seats back in once you have everything set up with the aftermarket seat? Or asked another way, once the F1Spec seat is installed can you easily unbolt it (four corners) and pop the stock seat back?

Also, unrelated, horse110 - what lip do you have?

Exact same issue with mine. Sliders also don't work once everything is tightened.
The seat itself is fine. I'll be looking for better brackets and sliders down the road.
