i already sent my gauge cluster surround to Canada for wrapping service. i wish you are closer, so i can bring the rest to you...

btw, how did you wrap the control boxes? do they need to be apart?
You did the big piece around the cluster? I looked at that piece for hours man and just couldnt figure out how to get it with one piece and set right, so I just said f@#k it... Yes you have to take the control boxes apart fully. Its a PIA because you have to make sure to get the extra apoxy out of the insides and what not so everything snaps back together properly.
i tried to use 3m di-noc, and i couldn't even do it right. yeah, i said the same thing.

so i just sent it to a professional shop for the service in Canada.

@hotlantas2k Thats what I was going for man, was a OEM style look, I wanted it to be suttle and not really falashy thats why I only did those pieces and not everything else in the car. But thanks man I do appreciate the complements man! Hopefully judges think its nice too lol
Is there some sort of DIY? How did you learn to do it? I have time I just have no idea how to go about doing it.

Nice job. I'm looking to do mine. I just wish I had extra parts that someone will donate so I can spend the money on the CF sheets. They run pretty expensive.

No my friend actually did it hiself and then showed me the peices which in turn made me want to do it. I dont know of any DYI on here but I went on google and read on it and went to youtube and watched all the videos on there and just kinda went from there. After you do the first 1-2 peices you kind of get the hang of it and know whats going on. The end part I wet sanded all of them with super fine sandpaper for a long time to get the "bubbles" and "dents" out of it then cleared the shit outta them. Just take your time on it. The shifter trim peice was the hardest because of its shape being round and the edges roll in, which makes it hard to get the carbon to lay properly. But good luck man!

@faxter18 You try a junkyard? You can use your own peices, you dont have to take all of them off at once. If you have enough spare time you can do 1 peice in a weekend (including friday)

yeah, 3m is a cheap thing. however, i also tried the real carbon fiber kit wrapping myself, but failed. wet sanding isn't that hard. it just takes time. but the hardest thing for me is to apply resin after the carbon fibric layer. i kept having bubbles and couldn't get rid of them.

for the gauge surround, he charges me $280 for real carbon fiber wrapping like yours. based on his gallery in his website, that person does a decent job. i will get my gauge surround, door sills, sun visor cover wrapped.

if you want his information, i can pm you his website.

You did try the carbon? Yea I ran into the same problem, it was either to thick or to thin is what I descovered. Also when you lay the next coat it covers it, the problem is that it is not self leveling. So the point of wet sanding it is to get those bubbles and dimples out of it and make it even and level, hints the very fine sand paper to do it. Then you clear the shit outta it! Yea I would like his info for sure man, I would also like to see your doors and everythihng when you get them back, along with how much it cost too please! I bet it will look good man! what color S do you have? Any thing else done to it?
