DC5R Recaro Swap
They do. But not in a bad way. The side bolsters are perfect if you sit in the far back slot on the rail, if your short they touch the door, maybe a half inch of side bolster touches. Nothing major or enough to make noises or leave marks.
thanks Jimbo, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind measuring the thickness of the bottom cushion of your seats, closest to the front of the seat?
I am currently using SR6 recaros with the RO rails and your seats look like they sit lower, so i'm guessing your seat bottoms aren't as thick. Because with my Recaros and the RO rails, I sit at about OEM height. I'm looking to lower my seating position.
If the DC5 Recaros sit quite a bit lower, I might just start hunting for a set and sell my SR6's. And as an alternative, if I can't find any, then I might sell my RO rails and buy a lower set of rails and keep the SR6's.

Nice to meet you at the Philly Tony Luke's Meet! The seats looks awesome in person. If I had the time to pull out my roll cage, swap my tan carpets and door panels, I would be totally on top of getting a set of DC5 R red seats. Great thread. Goodluck with deployment bro.
