Wondering more about this.

Not to thread jack, but I use this instead. More expensive but looks better IMO and more compact

NOTE:

I did this a couple months back. the damn plastic casing was too bulky, and the f@#kin key got stuck in the ignition for 4 days. i couldnt "push in far enough and twist" to get it out. all but ruined the ignition getting the damn 10 dollar pos out. not worth the risk at all.

I had the exact opposite experience with this key. My key is ever so slightly too long, which involves pulling the key out slightly after inserted to be able to have the pins properly aligned and able to turn the key. The way I look at it, the ten dollars was worth it to attempt an all in one key solution. After a week, it doesn't take me any extra time to be able to turn the key. My only issue with the key is likely related to how I pieced it together, in that my trunk button doesn't always work. The other two work every time, so I'm not sure what the issue is here.

Got mine done.

but My dealer charged only $21 ish to cut and program the key.
so I got a new key for the back up and used the old one to hack up and get the transponder out.

so all cost me

$21 OEM key but used old one and kept the new as back up.
$11 for ebay remote shell.

not bad

I bought a flip key like this and i hate it. Its very bulky.

I did this to my RSX key and I am trying to find something similar that will work with the s2000. (extra button for trunk release)
