Hi, I am considering doing this. What did you do with those wires in teh back? where do they connect?

[/quote] (very late reply) (my bad) one is earth ,red wire went to an ignition switch wire attatched to the stereo, the batterey in the clock keeps the memory

Thanks for the reply! did you have to extend the red wire? its got to reach all the way to the back of the head unit harness?

sorry for the barrage of questions, but can you please tell me what you used to cut the radio door? I have a dremel but never used it much. I have cutting disks but would that be ideal in this case?
