Default Hardtop Locks

Hey, does anyone have any info on how to install the Heeltoe or Ballade locks?
For me, the packaging came with nothing but the two CNCed parts and a set of keys.

From a forum search, looks like there once included plastic washers and other hardware too.
Any information on that also would be greatly appreciated!

There are two screws on the OEM latches. Unlatch your latch and look at the button from underneath it. You remove those two screws and re-install things the same way they came apart. It's very simple. I forget if it included any washers or not or if there were any on the OEM part. I took mine to the hardware store, pulled out one of the screws and took it inside to get a few new washers. You need just enough washer to be able to get the screw fairly tight. Too tight and the latches will be a PITA to push. Too loose and they'll rattle like a mofo. You need them just enough that they can't move up and down.

The key also sucks and is a total pain in the ass to get on. I got fed up with it trying to contort the key in without screwing up my interior piece for 20 minutes. Below is a youtube video showing a guy that made a fix. You 3d print a new handle for the key and cut off the old one. The 3D printed one just slips on. In the description, he has a link to the file for 3D printing. I went to Shapeways.com and paid them like $15 bucks or something to print one off for me and send it. You just upload the file and they'll print it and ship it to you.

The latches could really use some refinement but it's the best product we have available that I'm aware of for 2 pc. brackets.
