Default How do you guyes feel about the newer seats?

I just got a great deal and brand new 09 seats from a salvaged car for 700 bucks for both with 12k miles on it; everything including the seat belts included.

How is the material compared to the 06-07?

I kinda like the 06-07 but I don't know much about the seats I just bought (haven't arrived yet)

Can someone tell me about the material and which the feel are better? Thanks.

BTW, where could I get custom rails for the seats to fit an AP1? Thanks.

I don't think you need "custom" rails, just the ones for 00-05. I could be wrong but I think it's only the passenger rail that is different, driver side should bolt right up.

Yes, you should be able to swap them over. If you wanted a lower seating position then you need a custom rail like Backyard Special.

Is the only way to prevent the 09 seats from protruding over the roll bar by lowering the seats with custom rails or is there a way to adjust the seat itself?

You can't really lower it that much. I have the Backyard Special rails on my driver's seat and it mostly just drops the seat bottom, not the back. The 08-09 seats are great overall, very supportive and comfortable. But they do look a little funky in how they are taller than the hoops. No idea why Honda did that.

If you see pictures of the 09 seats they tend to stick out over the roll bars.
