Yeah! Buy the dye and prep cleaner. Mask off your areas and just like paint, apply a layer at a time.

Thanks guys! I dis it myself. Bought the cleaner and prep from SEM as well. Am working on a new boot and arm rest soon. I removed all the pieces I did to get a cleaner outcome. GL!!

this sounds like a plan.

coming from the rsx world i remember there being maybe a dupli color paint that damn near matched the trim. im guessing not in the s2k world? part is still off the car so painting it is no real issue. thanks again guys for all the ideas and pictures
