My S2K had an all black interior originally, but the previous owner had a local upholstery shop replace the seat leather with Katzkin's "red" leather. I confirmed the color/material by having that upholstery shop compare it against Katzkin's "red" color swatch. I like the color and am thinking about replacing the door panels with an OEM panel that is red/black to add more color to the interior. However, I'm concerned the Katzkin "red" and the Honda OEM "red" will be different shades and look obviously mismatched. Does anyone know how close of a color match Katzkin red leather is to OEM red?

 

Anyone put in a red Katzkin's seat kit? How does the color compare to the OEM door panel red leather?
Are there OEM swatches I could use? Or does anyone have a red interior that could have an upholstery shop compare a Katzkin's red swatch to their car for me?
Any help/advice would be helpful. I just don't want to spend a lot on a door panels, if they are not going to look right.
