Default Lower seats for tall people

Ok so I know about the low rails. I've tried 2 s2000 so far one oem and one with the low rails. The oem setup my legroom is decent but my head is out the roof. Low rails my head room is decentish but the seat wouldn't go as far back so my knees ate the dash.

I'm 6'5"

I recently got this wrecked ap1 that I'm parting out so tomorrow I'm taking one of my bride brix 2 and moving everything to see how it would sit mounted direct to the floor. I don't need the seat to move as no one drives my cars by me lol.

My question is would this cause any kind of safety hazard?

For some reason I can't put my finger on I don't think that's a good idea but at 6' 5" you don't have many options. Maybe you'll get some unwanted (or wanted?!?) vibrations through your bum or heat from the exhaust cooking your tush. I don't know, but I just don't feel confident giving you the .

I'm not sure what he had in the car I didn't ask at the time but I can likely find out. I mean I could maybe make my own bracket to raise them up an inch at most. But yea being tall isn't always fun lol.

You can cut the stock rails, a bunch of tall ppl with S2K's do it where i live. My bud cut 1.5" off his.

and if you have a bucket a lot of ppl use the Buddyclub rails.

I asked coz the one rail that works with stock seats is the BYS rail.

The other option to lower stock seats is the DIY on here somewhere where two holes are drilled on the rail, the rear studs are hammered in and some cushion is shaved.

The last option is aftermarket seats and you have a few rail options such as TAITEC, Buddy Club etc.

I am tall as well and would like to lower my seat someday, I will probably go aftermarket seat and rail, I am thinking. Someday

I'm 6'3", 6'4"-6'5" with shoes. Back when I had a s2000 I did part of this mod. I took apart the seat and hammered the rear of the seat pan where it bolts up and re-drilled the front rail mounts, I didn't remove any padding, it was good enough for daily driving.

I still had problems fitting in the car with the top up and a helmet on. Ended up going with a recaro SPG and low rails (don't remember which rails)
