How do they hold up to the sun? My car is mostly outside, uncovered.

Thanks guys. Hope it helps some with the installs!

As for the sun. I have not had the pieces in my car for long yet. I have had it through a few upper 70 degree days with zero issues. It shouldn't be a problem at all though. The manufacturer has used pieces installed this way for years he said without issues.

I'm not worried about installation, I'm worried about fading.

He just installed it. Google it and see how resistant material is to sun exposure.

Any material over time can and will fade to some point. Alcantara has been known to fare very well against fading over all. Left in the sun enough there really isn't a material anywhere that can't fade some. It should take a long time to noticeably fade though. Dashboards get it the worse. I don't think the center console cover, door inserts, shift boot etc stuff like that should really have any issue. This stuff is used in lots of high end exotic cars.

Installed the center console cover today. I will be posting a DIY write up above when I get a chance. Took pictures all along the way.

Here are a couple of completed pictures. Only thing I am missing to complete the install is the sun visors and the door insets for my AP2 door panels.

Then I will be complete with it.

If the AP1 arm rest cover is glue/welded on, and we have to break/cut it off, how do we get it back on?
