Howdy. I recently purchased my first S2K, a 2000 in Silverstone with the red and black interior. As we all know, the fastest color combination by far. Pics attached below.

I also just joined this forum. Maybe it's just me (I am sure that it is) but I am having difficulty locating current information on what options may be available for the carpeted center console. I saw info on Rick's but apparently they are NLA. My car is a relatively low mileage (30K) totally stock example, zero mods. Seems to me a full leather console would look much nicer and could really pull the interior together but I would not want to do it if I was unable to return it to stock without it being noticeable.

Seems to me that this would be a common question but damn if I can find answers. Lol. Any input from what I hope to be many new friends would be greatly appreciated!

 

Bump for ya. I looked into this when I first got mine (have since grown to like the carpet actually), but I thought I remembered it being possible and reversible with oem parts but a bit of a pita. OEM parts can still be found if that's of interest. Hopefully someone who knows more can chime in.

The earlier carpeted drive line tunnel is truly classic, especially with the red-black interior. I'd not touch it. Just takes frequent use of a hand vacuum.
