Default New homelink installed

[attachment=56463::] I Finished installing my new homelink transmitter. I installed it in the drivers door by the tweeter. Tapped into power mirrors for power. Now I can select between my three garage doors. It is illuminated at night so it is easy to see and use. No more having to worry about a transmitter being stolen. [attachment=56464::]

I actually found a brand new unit on eBay at half the cost of Mito Corp that makes them. I hear some have used ones from sun visors from cars on the recycle yard. I needed the newest one I could find due to new openers I installed. Also like the fact that it is illuminated.

Can you take a picture that is in daylight so we can see the unit and not just the lights at night? Thanks.

Looking good! I would definitely like to install one of those in the near future.

Looks good OP. Not my first choice mounting location but the install looks clean.

I only have one garage door (double wide) so I just disassembled my opener, wired it in to the map light constant, and installed it near the drivers soft top latch. It works flawlessly and has better range than the battery did.
