I have a signature (signed with a marker) on the radio cover that is fading, so i'd like to get it engraved. However i am not sure if the plastic is suitable for engraving. If its the wrong plastic type, it might end up melting and creating a mess.
Has anyone engraved this before, or does anyone know the plastic type?
For investment purposes, I'm pretty sure engraving would bring the value to zero. Even clear coating might considerably devalue the signature.
True, however this isn't for investment purposes but rather for sentimental value. After its engraved, I plan on filling it in with (probably) yellow paint.
