I exchanged a few emails in April with Art at Qube. He said they were having supply chain challenges related to the circuit boards they get from China. Then the covid shutdown had their facilities in Michigan shutdown until further notice. I did email him last week about if there was any progress but no response so far.

I am hoping this virus doesn’t take them out but it’s likely a labor of love and hope that means they will emerge from this. I’m patiently waiting to place a deposit on a cluster myself.

Emailed Art about a week ago and he replied quite quickly. Below is what he replied.

"The COVID-19 issue has caused a major delay in the restock of my S2000 LED Gauge Cluster kits, both AP1 and AP2 versions. My manufacturer is based out of Michigan, but they outsource the PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for all their products, including mine, from their supplier in China. The initial delay was because production of the PCBs was shut down on the China side. The good news is work is slowly resuming in China and the boards finally shipped and arrived at my manufacturer this week!

Now, the second wave of bad news... Michigan is currently under a stay-at-home order so my manufacturer cannot get to work to finish the boards until the order is lifted. The Michigan order is set to continue through April 13th, but as you know that can change.

I will keep you updated with any major status changes. Hang in there...It'll be worth the wait!"

Default Still going?

Does anyone know if indeed Qube are still going? Just watched a chap called Jimbo on YouTube fitting his Qube cluster and dash controls but no joy trying to get hold of Qube via email or PM.

Just making sure I am going the right way given I’m from Europe!

Hey thanks for that - was getting worried!

Did you go via the website direct or email in order to decide which way to go? I mean core or diy route

Website and DIY kit. I just took my time and it wasn’t bad. Hardest part is cutting the plastic bits with a dremel.

Wait a sec I thought the dremel was for the iD4 screen only! Are you not swapping the circuit board only? I mean in the diy
