Default Replacing my floormats

So I currently have a black/black ap2 and my drivers side floor mat has a hole in it - no big deal, I see hardtopguy has oem mats for pretty cheap. I just cant decide on a color.

I thought about either black w/ red lettering, red, blue, or cr mats - my only concern is that I dont want to get a new set of mats only to have them look like crap in a few weeks. I dd this car and I sometimes cant help having dirt or sand on my shoes (mountain biking). Would the red or blue mats hold up to dirt well or do they stain easily? I also was thinking of the cr mats because they are cheaper than the ones with red lettering.

Other than the black interior, my seats have red stitching... I have nothing else yellow in the car, or blue for that matter. I just like the thought of red mats and dont want to make a bad decision.

Thoughts?

I don't mean to throw a wrench into your decision process but something like Ricks mats or muz mats will outlast oem mats three times over. Oem mats are so thin and are overly short, and don't have heel pads, that is why they look so bad quickly after put into use. An extra long mat that covers the frame humps, with much thicker material and a driver side heel pad will hold up to long term use much better. I've got a set of three year old ricks mats right now that look practically brand new.

True that. Unless you want it to say "s2000" get another brand as mentioned above or get a random junk set from autozone to put over a new set of "s2000" ones.

I think the Ricks Nylon mats are around $179+ , their higher end wool material is quite a bit more. Their nylon mats are still twice as thick as the oem mats anhd more durable, the heelpad on the driver side is included in their price. Their black nylon is almost impossible to permanently stain unlike the oem material that stains easily.

Muz's higher end mats can be pretty pricey but offer other cosmetic options like logos and colour choices, they can look pretty nice when optioned out.

Both options are higher cost than oem mats, but are better long term mats , and they will look better over their lifespan.

I like ricks mats but I'm unsure about the piping on the sides of them. I'll have to do some research into them... And id be getting the nylon mats. They aren't much more than oem :-).

they look kinda thick, tho i have seen some second hand for sale and they look a little worn, but perhaps this is a good floor mat replacement

Yeah the piping trim isnt anything fancy, I got the black nylon mats with blue piping trim, wasn't crazy about it at first but it has grown on me and I do like it now. Muz has some really nice trim on their mats that really stands out brightly, but you pay for it.
