Seat differences between different MY's

from what I have seen and read 00-05 are all the same seats, The black and red seats have slightly diff patterns. I belive honda saw the problem with the seats being stolen in the s2000's so instead of fixing the problem they made the seats ugly in 06-on to keep them from getting stolen 
I have heard the brackets are slightly differant on the ap2's though.

Honda made a few changes to the seats every time they made changes to wheels:
2000 - 2003: The original seats, with the infamous helmet hole
2004 - 2005: Changed the black colour to charcoal (yes, there is actually a difference)
2006 - 2007: "Plugged" up the helmet hole, and changed the leather material to a more durable / thicker / more grainy looking one
2008 - present: The headrest was extended a bit higher than the ones on 06/07 seats, and seats received red stitching in some cases (or all?)
The seats changes correspond to the wheel changes for AP1, AP2 V1 to V3 if you look closely ...
Correct me if I'm wrong

2000-2003 - Original, came in black or all-red.
2004-2005 - Black changed to "charcoal", all-red changed to a black/red scheme
2006-2007 - Leather has changed. "Inserts" are of softer leather, with smaller perforations at a higher density. "Outer" leather has a grainy, supposedly more durable texture. "Insert" foam is much softer and more plush. Headrest has changed, no longer has the "hoop". Color scheme stays the same as '04-05 for the USA, all-red is available in Canada again. Passenger side airbag sensor added into seat bottom.
2008 - Color scheme changed again. Red stitching on all seats. "Insert and outer" available in red, with seat back and sides in black, or all black. Headrest slightly taller and flatter (it almost looks goofy..).
I think that sums it up?
